On the podcast "The Rest Is Entertainment," hosts Richard Osman and Marina Hyde commented that gathering the cast in one place required military precision, especially due to the tension between Zendaya and Sweeney, whom they called "MAGA Barbie."
Hyde noted that Zendaya and Sweeney did not appear in any photos together.
"I can’t believe the precision with which their teams had to plan this. The screening was supposed to start at seven, meaning everyone should have been in their places. Zendaya didn’t show up until eight, which is a masterclass in power play, because everyone else had been sitting for a long time. There is reportedly a huge feud between Zendaya and Sweeney. Who knows how true it is, but what is certain is that they are not together in any photos," she said.
At the Los Angeles premiere, fans noticed the discord. Zendaya was filmed greeting her colleague Hunter Schafer and hugging director Sam Levinson. On the other hand, Sweeney posed with colleagues Alexa Demie, Schafer, and Maude Apatow. She arrived at the event with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun.
