"We have gone through difficult relations with Iran. We did nothing to them. They shot down our plane, killed our passengers and crew. People died. They did not admit it and did not allow experts to enter," said Zelensky. He recalled the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, when a Ukrainian passenger plane was shot down over Tehran in January 2020, killing all 176 people on board. Zelensky noted that relations further deteriorated after the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "After the start of the full-scale war, they gave the Russians Shahed drones with which they killed our civilians," said the Ukrainian president. He added that he tried to stop such practices through diplomatic means. "I wanted to stop it. I asked them. They promised there would be no more than one delivery of drones, but they continued to lie and supply weapons," said Zelensky. In conclusion, he stated that due to such behavior, Iran is considered responsible for the consequences of the war in Ukraine. "That is why I consider them accomplices of Russia," Zelensky conveyed.
