Discussing the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the "Southern Gas Interconnection Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia" Pipeline, he stated that this solution is not the most fortunate but is currently the only possible one. He believes that such a proposal is incomplete from the perspective of managing the assets that will be made available to investors. One of the remarks is the 15-day deadline for submitting documentation. "That is impossible to comply with. This raises the question and the danger that tomorrow an investor might sue the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for not providing the documentation on time, and that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina might suffer due to lost profits from the investor," he believes. Regarding the system operator, he noted that it must have a license according to current regulations, but, he adds, it is not defined how it will be obtained.

Zaimović believes that the South Interconnection Law has shortcomings: The solution is not the happiest, but it is the only possible one.
Mirsad Zaimović, the president of the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated that this entity urgently needs a new interconnection because, from 2028 onwards, it will no longer have the gas supply it has relied on until now.
