This is yet another in a series of sold-out concerts by Zabranjeno Pušenje as Neuštekani, who have already sold out performances in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Zadar, Osijek, Munich, Split, and other cities. In some cities, multiple shows have sold out, with as many as four concerts held in Osijek, three in Split, and two each in Zadar and Sarajevo.
The legendary band, which in 2024 marked 40 years since the release of the cult album "Das Ist Walter," has once again demonstrated through the "Neuštekani" project that it is forever young and ready for new challenges. This project, through which Sejo Sexon wanted to, as he says, right a wrong and perform live songs—many of which are seeing the stage lights for the first time—presents Zabranjeno Pušenje in an unplugged version, on acoustic instruments, as a story and a poignant emotion.
In a more intimate atmosphere, with a previously undiscovered musical repertoire, the audience in Tuzla will also have the opportunity to hear short stories related to the formation and birth of Zabranjeno Pušenje, as well as songs that have never been performed at concerts before, such as "Pismo Elvisu," "Laku noć, stari," "Arizona Dream," "Nema više," or "Kad dernek utihne"...
The virtuoso playing of the band, which in the "neuštekani" version has had the chance to showcase its musical artistry in full splendor, will make even the most famous songs of Zabranjeno Pušenje, like "Djevojčica kojima miriše koža," "Fikrete," and "Lijepe Alme," sound a bit different, and the audience will enjoy a unique "journey" through the long and fruitful career of this group.
"Before the first Neuštekani performance in Sarajevo, I had enormous stage fright, as if I were stepping onto the stage for the first time, and after the brilliant concerts in my hometown, and then in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Zadar, Belgrade, Podgorica, Munich, Split, and Osijek, I can hardly wait to meet the Tuzla audience and look forward to having the opportunity to share this fantastic musical experience with them at BKC—for us, and I hope for them as well," says Sejo Sexon.
Tickets for the concert are on sale at prices of 40 and 50 KM and can be purchased through the ticket service entrio.ba, CD shop Mido, EXC exchange office in Mercator, and IQ mobile stores in Tuzla.
Zabranjeno Pušenje as Neuštekani will hold the following performances in the upcoming period:
