This feature automatically filters out background noise to make conversations clearer. So if you're surrounded by traffic or crowds, or in a windy environment, this should help those you're speaking with hear you better. The feature can be enabled or disabled as desired, as seen in the screenshots above. The toggle is available in the call menu, but the feature will be enabled by default. The new feature is being rolled out gradually to beta testers, and if everything goes smoothly in the beta app, it will likely reach all WhatsApp users on Android in the coming weeks or months.
