"I have just finished a phone call with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in which I informed him of the initial results of the investigation by our military-police authorities regarding the threat to the critical gas infrastructure connecting Serbia and Hungary," Vučić posted on Instagram. Vučić added that security units also found detonators necessary for activating explosives. "I informed Prime Minister Orban that we will keep him updated on the further progress of the investigation," said Vučić. While visiting the construction site for Expo 2027, Vučić noted that two backpacks and two large packages of explosives with detonators were found, along with other traces. "The military, counterintelligence services, and the Military Security Agency immediately responded to protect the compressor station and the gas pipeline," emphasized Vučić. Recall that RTS reported this morning that members of the Serbian police and army are searching the area in the municipality of Kanjiža, near the Hungarian border, in pursuit of unauthorized materials dangerous to citizens' lives and parts of vital infrastructure. Helicopters, drones, tracking dogs, thermal imaging, counter-diversion teams, medical vehicles, and technical equipment have been deployed.
