Although the agenda does not list specific topics for the sessions, it is expected that the party may announce the name of its candidate for the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the upcoming elections scheduled for October this year.

More precisely, it is a female candidate, namely Darija Filipović, a representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

There is no official confirmation that this will be the topic or that Filipović is the certain choice, but this is suggested by information obtained by Klix.ba, as well as by public appearances of the party president Dragan Čović.

He revealed back in February this year that at the next session of the HDZ Presidency, scheduled for April 13, they would have the name of the person who will be their candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the upcoming elections.

According to information obtained by our portal, several names are being mentioned in internal discussions. Among these names is Andrijana Katić, the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications.

However, as stated to Klix.ba, within the HDZ, they are aware that there is no time to promote another candidate and that Filipović's candidacy will most likely be confirmed.

The party's intention to nominate Filipović has been clear for several months, considering that she constantly appears at events alongside the HDZ president.

Recall that Filipović won a seat in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014. Four years later, she moved up a step and became a representative in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in 2022, she was re-elected to the state parliament.

Before that, until 2014, Filipović was the general secretary of the Cantonal Committee of the HDZ in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. She is also one of the vice presidents of the HDZ.
