It is ideal for guests because it looks impressive and is very simple to make. If you want a shine on the strawberries, you can coat them with gelatin or cake glaze.
Line a 24-centimeter diameter mold with baking paper. Briefly dip the ladyfingers in milk and arrange them along the edges (upright) and on the bottom.
Mix the gelatin with five tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for five to 10 minutes to swell. Then gently heat it until dissolved.
After that, whip the sweet cream into stiff peaks. Separately mix the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar. Combine with the whipped cream by gently stirring. Add the dissolved gelatin and quickly mix.
Spread a layer of filling over the ladyfingers and add a portion of the sliced strawberries. Cover with the remaining filling and smooth it out. Leave in the refrigerator for at least four hours (ideally overnight). Arrange fresh strawberries on top.
