The application of new prices for all service users began on April 1, 2026. As explained by the Independent Expert Body and KJKP Toplane, the need for price adjustment was caused by an increase in the wholesale price of natural gas, as per the decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January of this year, as well as by rising material operating costs of KJKP Toplane.
Although the initial proposal from the company's Supervisory Board envisaged a price increase of 5.84 percent, the Independent Expert Body concluded after analysis that it is sufficient to adjust prices by the stated percentages of 3.79 and 4.20 percent to ensure the stability of heat energy supply, as announced by the Protocol and Press Service of the Sarajevo Canton.
