With 37.33 FIS points in the slalom discipline, according to the FIS scoring system for the upcoming season, Mehiฤ‡ is currently the top-ranked competitor in the world in the 2009 generation for this discipline, placing him at the very pinnacle of world junior skiing. Anur is ranked ahead of a Norwegian, an American, and an Austrian on this list, further confirming the value of this result in an exceptionally strong international field.

It is important to emphasize that, under the current scoring system for the 2025/26 season, Anur concludes the season with an impressive 32.71 FIS points in slalom. Starting next season, significant changes will be introduced to the World Ski Federation's scoring system. For the 2027 season, a transition is planned to a model where the average of the three best results will be calculated for technical disciplines, and an addition of the so-called "category adder" of 8 points will be introduced for all competitors, aiming to further enhance the fairness and precision of competitor rankings at the international level.

This season, Anur made an important leap by entering both FIS junior and senior skiing. He opened the season with victories in slalom in St. Moritz (Switzerland), and in Sexten and San Vito di Cadore (Italy), competing against athletes under 21. After that, he almost entirely transitioned to senior FIS races, where he continued with outstanding performances. The move to senior races was a strategic decision aimed at accelerating development through competition with older and more experienced skiers.

"This result represents an important confirmation of the work and continuity we have been building for years. Anur demonstrates that through dedicated work and a clear plan, one can reach the top level even from a small skiing nation like Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated Anur's team.

With this result, Anur is ranked 362nd on the overall world ranking list in slalom. One of the main goals for the next season is participation in the EYOF 2027, as well as advancing into the top 200 on the ranking list and entering the World Cup within the next four years.
