The question of the winner and the finalist was settled early in the match, with Velež completely dismantling the home team's strategy through a furious first-half performance.
Sloga's net shook as early as the 3rd minute from the first real action of the game. Milak delivered an excellent cross, and Đurić scored with a brilliant header for 1:0.
In the 14th minute, Sloga's goalkeeper Erić made an inexplicable error while playing around in front of his own goal. Attempting to clear the ball, he hit the onrushing Šarić, from whom the ball deflected into the empty net for 2:0.
After the second goal, the visitors continued to create chances. Hrkać and Mešić threatened, and in the 27th minute, Abdullah nearly surprised the advanced Erić with an incredible shot from 50 meters.
However, Sloga's complete collapse in the first half was sealed in the 36th minute. Abdullah masterfully set up Đurić, who escaped his marker Šešljak and expertly lobbed Sloga's goalkeeper for 3:0.
In the second half, both coaches made a series of substitutions, and the pace of the game dropped significantly. Velež conceded mild initiative to the hosts, but Sloga failed to even score a consolation goal.
Velež reached a fourth goal in the 70th minute after a nice move finished by Kuzmanović, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR check for offside.
For the remainder of the match, play was mostly confined between the two penalty areas, allowing the Mostar side to calmly see out the game.
Velež will face the better of the Zrinjski and Radnik matchup in the final, with the first leg in Bijeljina ending 0:0.
