He was born in Viลกegrad, lived in Sarajevo, and moved to Zurich in 1973. This versatile man, whose love for the guitar and flamenco took him to Switzerland, began practicing watchmaking in the 1990s. He creates table clocks that are masterpieces. Among others, these are clocks that adorn royal houses, which also speaks to their material value. This artistic creation has been recognized by the Horological Academy of Independent Watchmakers, of which Eleta is a member among 35 members. The Bosnian ambassador to Germany, Damir Arnaut, is among the initiators for Eleta to become an honorary consul. The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Beฤ‡iroviฤ‡ (SDP), agreed to formalize this institutionally. "After decades spent in Switzerland as an artist and creator of unique clocks, the Bosnian authorities have chosen me as an honorary consul. I have long loved and appreciated both cultures, and I am pleased with this recognition," Eleta stated. In an interview with Klix.ba, he spoke about his work, which is of world-class caliber.
