On the eve of the vote on the Southern Interconnection, a special envoy from the U.S. Department of Energy arrived in Sarajevo.

The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold a session on April 15 with one agenda item - the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Southern Interconnection Gas Pipeline of BiH and Croatia.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously submitted to parliamentary procedure the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Southern Interconnection. It has also been proposed to vote under an urgent procedure.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier stated that this is one of the most important infrastructure and energy projects for the Federation of BiH and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which directly affects the security of gas supply, the stability of the energy system, and overall economic development.
