On the maps of both entities, Sarajevo has disappeared as if it never existed, while East Sarajevo has been retained. It is not known whether the controversial detail is part of a broader campaign or an error that occurred last night, although earlier reporting on topics from Sarajevo suggests that Sarajevo may have been permanently erased from all maps of the entity's public service. Interestingly, Article 9 of the Constitution of Republika Srpska states that the capital of this entity is Sarajevo. We recall that the Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the authors, editors, and responsible persons of Radio-Television of Republika Srpska (RTRS) for inciting national hatred, division, or intolerance due to a report on the purchase of apartments in East Sarajevo. Specifically, the report listed apartments purchased by Bosniaks and claimed that this would have consequences for Serbs.
