The play follows Grubi, a local criminal who lives in a luxurious apartment with his ambitious wife Biba, surrounded by people from the political and social elite. Their desire for status, prestige, and entry into "high society" triggers a series of comedic, absurd, and morally questionable situations. When their lives intertwine with the president of a political party and his circle of power brokers, the boundaries between crime and politics become increasingly thin, almost imperceptible. Through witty dialogues, sharp satire, and elements of the grotesque, the play exposes the hypocrisy of the elite, the mechanisms of power, and deeply rooted corruption, raising the question of how difficult—or impossible—it truly is to change one's own "spots."
