The Easter egg was blessed on Holy Saturday, following the blessing of the food, with the blessing led by the guardian of the Franciscan Monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska, Fra Bono Tomić. This unique project thus gained a spiritual dimension and conveyed the message of Easter—hope, renewal, and a new beginning.

The author and creator of the Easter egg is local entrepreneur Andrej Zorić, who spent days designing and crafting it. The organizers emphasize that Zorić has selflessly dedicated himself to his community for years, and through this project, he has shown how much a local initiative can bring about positive changes in the community.

The event was organized by the Organizing Committee, which was launched last year on All Saints' Day, with the aim of revitalizing and renewing Kraljeva Sutjeska. That is precisely why the largest Easter egg is not just a holiday decoration but also a symbol of rebirth, community, and development for this place.

Alongside Andrej Zorić, the event organization was particularly led by the President of the Organizing Committee, Manuela Marinčić, and the President of the Local Community, Perica Rodić, with the help of committee members, residents of Kraljeva Sutjeska, and the diaspora.

The organizers convey that this is just one in a series of initiatives aimed at restoring visibility, life, and optimism to Kraljeva Sutjeska—a place of great historical importance and significant tourism potential.
