The audience will have the opportunity to watch five Spanish feature films in their original version with Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian subtitles. Screenings begin at 8 PM. Admission is free.

The program at the Meeting Point cinema on Thursday, April 16th at 8 PM opens with the 2024 film "Casa en llamas" (House on Fire), directed by Dani de la Orden. This award-winning film tells the story of Montse, who is overjoyed to finally gather her family at the house where they spent their summers for years. Montse has been divorced for years; her ex-husband has a new partner, the children are grown and have long been living their own lives, paying little attention to her. Montse has waited too long for this moment to let anything stand in her way.

On Friday, April 17th, the program features the film "Ventajas de viajar en tren" (Advantages of Travelling by Train), directed by Aritz Moreno. It's a story about a seemingly ordinary train journey that turns into a disturbing and fascinating experience. Black humor, madness, and violence intertwine in a clever and provocative narrative.

Saturday, April 18th is reserved for the film "Soy Nevenka" (I Am Nevenka), directed by Iciar Bollain, whose films are regular features in Spanish cinema cycles. "I Am Nevenka" is a powerful and essential portrayal of the value of truth, the fight for dignity, and the price of breaking the silence.

On Sunday, April 19th, you can enjoy a film for the whole family. The animated film "Mortadelo y Filemon contra Jimmy el Cachondo" (Mortadelo and Filemon: The Incredible Mission) is intended for the youngest and all those who feel young at heart.

The Spanish cinema cycle closes on Monday, April 20th with the film "En los Margenes" (On the Fringe), featuring Penรฉlope Cruz in one of the lead roles.
