The focus is on higher-quality public services, increased investments in infrastructure, and stronger support for citizens in the areas of education, healthcare, security, economy, and social protection. The work program includes a total of 81 programs from cantonal ministries, of which 47 are aimed at achieving strategic goals and development projects, while 34 programs relate to the regular and legally mandated responsibilities of institutions. "Among the most significant planned activities are the continuation of the reconstruction and adaptation of the TK Government building, the construction of the University of Tuzla Campus, the ลฝivinice Police Administration building, and the Lukavac Municipal Court facility, through which the Government continues to link strategic planning with the concrete needs of citizens and the modernization of the public sector," stated the TK Government. A special emphasis in 2026 will be placed on improving public security, strengthening police capacities, and providing administrative services to citizens more efficiently. In the field of education, investments are planned for preschool capacities, school digitalization, support for pupils and students, and continued activities to develop university infrastructure. "At the same time, significant funds are planned for the healthcare sector, including investment in healthcare institutions, support for the Tuzla University Clinical Center, equipment procurement, and strengthening the availability of healthcare. The program also includes measures to strengthen the economy, support small and medium-sized enterprises, women's entrepreneurship, digital and green transition, as well as investments in water infrastructure, environmental protection, tourism, transportation, and local development," the statement notes. Additionally, measures for social protection, support for families with children, the veteran population, youth, culture, and sports also hold a significant place, confirming the Government's commitment to building the Canton's development through simultaneous strengthening of economic, institutional, and social capacities. During 2026, which is also an election year, as concluded, the TK Government will implement an extensive normative and thematic work plan, along with continued activities on European integrations, implementation of development policies, and aligning institutional work with modern management standards, all aimed at improving the quality of life for TK citizens.
