According to this decision, zones with designated purposes have been defined, including the "Terme Ilidža Zone," which pertains to tourism, hospitality, recreation, and health offerings.

The expansion of the existing "Terme Ilidža" hotel complex is planned through the addition of a new building on the undeveloped northern part, alongside enclosed thermal river pools and a tropical park, while ensuring its functional and design integration with the existing structure.

The new addition will be designed as a unified urban-architectural whole with the existing building, with one part planned as a ground-level structure, while the other will have a ground floor and six additional floors.

Above the ground floor, a hotel block reaching a height of approximately 26.5 meters is planned, significantly increasing the accommodation capacity of the complex.

The project also includes improvements to transportation infrastructure, retaining the existing vehicular access while expanding parking capacity, and arranging pedestrian pathways in accordance with the new facilities.

Special emphasis is placed on the design of the complex's entrance area and green spaces, including the planting of high-value trees and horticultural landscaping with elements of urban furniture.

Additionally, the modernization of utility and energy infrastructure is planned, including enhancements to water supply and drainage, relocation of part of the sewer and gas networks, and increasing the capacity of the electrical power system through the construction of a new transformer station. The project aims to enhance the tourism offerings and enable further development of spa, wellness, recreational, and conference tourism in the Ilidža area.

The decision to proceed with the plan's development is scheduled for February 2026. The proposal will be prepared within 90 days of securing the necessary groundwork and geotechnical report. A public forum, or public presentation of the plan proposal, will last 30 days from its delivery. Following the completion of the public forum, the adoption of the plan is expected within 60 days.
