U.S. President Donald Trump says that within a few hours he will attack Iranian power plants and bridges if Iran does not agree to open the Strait of Hormuz. "We will attack the infrastructure of America and its partners in a way that will deprive them and their allies of oil and gas from this region for many years to come," states the announcement, adding: "American leaders do not have the ability to assess key targets that would be within the range of our forces if they attacked our infrastructure." They state that their response will extend beyond the region if the U.S. military crosses their red lines. Recall that the U.S. president said that an entire civilization will die tonight and will never be restored. Over the weekend, he said that Iran has until Tuesday at 8:00 PM Eastern Time to reach an agreement on opening the Strait of Hormuz.
