The timeless "Hedgehog's Little House," based on the text by Branko Ćopić and directed by Mirela Trepanić Grbešić, will be performed on stage.
At the heart of this warm and playful fairy tale is the well-known Hedgehog Ježić, who, despite the persuasions and temptations of various forest "friends," does not give up on his modest but beloved home. Through encounters with the cunning Fox, the greedy Wolf, and other vivid characters, Hedgehog reminds us of a simple but important truth—that the value of a home lies not in its size, but in the love and sense of belonging we carry within it. Through song, play, and imaginative stage visuals, the audience will join the characters on an adventure full of humor, warmth, and gentle life lessons.
The cast includes Ermin Avdić, Ivana Perkunić Mešalić, Boris Balta, Jasmina Dedić Ibrić, Mirza Pinjić, and Nedim Malkočević, who will bring this world to life in a way that resonates with both children and adults.
The special value of such encounters lies not only in a pleasant time spent but in something much more long-term—in cultivating the habit of going to the theater from the earliest days. It is precisely through such performances that we hope the youngest generations will come to love the magic of theater, grow up with stories that enrich them, and, step by step, develop into curious, sensitive, and literate audiences who understand and appreciate art.
"Hedgehog's Little House" is more than just a repertoire play. It is the first (or a new) step into the world of theater, where we laugh, learn, and create lasting memories together.
