"We know Radnik well, I think there are no question marks there. It's up to us to see which will be the freshest lineup, that is, with what setup to take the field and do everything to win that first match," stated Štimac.
He emphasized that the squad's condition, despite the demanding league match and victory against Velež last Friday, is excellent and that the impressions, "even though Zrinjski went through an attempted massacre in that match," are very good.
"The players showed character and resilience. Few teams would have endured that," he stressed, adding that in that context, he can hardly wait for a possible Cup final with Velež, who in the second semifinal match tomorrow hosts Sloga.
Returning to Radnik, he said that "they are burdened by the fight for survival, but Zrinjski is thinking about themselves, and also about what awaits after Radnik, which is primarily the away match in Sarajevo."
"We are looking at the bigger picture because we must try to stay in the race and keep hope that we can catch up with Borac," he commented on the league battle, which, due to Borac's nine-point lead, is considered by many to already be decided.
The expected somewhat more challenging pitch in Bijeljina does not particularly worry him.
"This match is a question of character, authority, and quality. In that segment, we, as a championship club, must show a level above the host. We must accept all challenges and bravely face what awaits us there," concluded the strategist of the Plemići.
Velež will host Sloga starting at 18:45, and the return matches are scheduled for April 15th.
