"Dad, today marks 6 months since you moved on to the other world, and I hope it's better than this one. Know that we miss you a lot. Every day we miss you more and more. We miss you so much, by God. You know, every day I expect and just ask: 'Where are you?'. I love you. Your Dino," wrote Dino Bešlić on his Facebook profile. Halid Bešlić passed away in October 2025 at the age of 72 after a brief battle with a serious illness. He held his last concert in Banja Luka in August of this year and was hospitalized at the end of the same month. His son Dino Bešlić strives to keep his private life away from the public eye. He has spoken out a few times since his father's death. He also attended gatherings in front of the Youth Center and the Eternal Flame, which were organized in honor of the legendary Bosnian-Herzegovinian singer. "My dear dad, I would like to write all sorts of things, but I don't have the strength for it. I only know that you will be greatly missed by the group in this photo, and especially by your Lamija and your Belmin. We love you very much and know that we will never let you down. I will proudly carry your surname and the burden you left me. Your Dino," stated Dino Bešlić after his father's death.
