At the commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mossad Director David Barnea spoke about the recent joint U.S.-Israel campaign against Iran and his agency's role in those operations. Barnea stated that Mossad operated "in the heart of Tehran" during the mentioned campaign and emphasized that the agency provided accurate intelligence to the Israeli Air Force. According to his words, thanks to that information, missiles that threatened Israel were struck. "Our mission is not yet complete," the Mossad chief conveyed, adding that they did not expect the task to be finished immediately after combat operations ended. He highlighted that the intelligence service had intensively planned the continuation of the campaign to achieve results even in the period after the strike in Tehran. As he emphasized, Mossad's responsibility in this matter will cease "only when this radical regime is replaced." A change of regime in Iran, Barnea concluded, "is our mission. We will not stand aside and merely watch while facing yet another existential threat."
