The Tourist Board of KS is recording exceptionally positive trends. In March 2026, there were 12.7 percent more arrivals and as much as 34.6 percent more overnight stays compared to the same period last year. This growth clearly indicates an extension of tourists' stays and an increasingly rich offer that meets the needs of modern travelers.
Positive trends continued at the level of the first quarter as well. In the first three months of 2026, there were 4.4 percent more arrivals and as much as 25.4 percent more overnight stays compared to the same period in 2025.
The largest number of visitors come from Croatia, Turkey, Serbia, China, Germany, the United States, Montenegro, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, and Italy. The most overnight stays were recorded by guests from Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Montenegro, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
These data confirm the continuous growth of tourist traffic, as well as the increasingly strong international recognition of Sarajevo and the Sarajevo Canton as a destination that offers an authentic experience, safety, and top-notch hospitality.
