Concerned residents reported the incident to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (MUP KS), whose officers compiled a report, after which an investigation was launched. Petra Tiješić Street is located in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Dobrinja 4, on the entity line between the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska. Disturbed citizens emphasize that they have not had a similar experience before, noting that the graffiti reading "Ratko Mladić ravaged Bosnia" and "Serbian Sarajevo" disrupt coexistence and incite hatred and intolerance. Incidentally, the graffiti were written on the night of April 4 to 5, precisely when the siege of Sarajevo began in 1992.
