Today's session, convened by the Minister of Finance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Srđan Amidžić, had only one item on the agenda: the Proposal for Amendments to the Rules on Internal Organization of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) concerning the Gradiška Border Crossing. However, Zijad Krnjić once again did not approve it, and for the Proposal to be adopted, all members of the UIO Management Board must be in agreement.

"The decision was blocked by a member of the Management Board from the ranks of experts appointed by the Government of the Federation of BiH, Zijad Krnjić. Unfortunately, for the fifth time, we tried to see if there is any common sense in BiH, but there is none. The absurdity of BiH. Everyone voted for the opening of the crossing in Gradiška except Zijad Krnjić. It seems easier to stop five million passengers at the border than to force one man to vote for opening the crossing," said Amidžić after today's session.

Krnjić previously explained the reasons for blocking this Proposal at the UIO Management Board, emphasizing that he will approve the rules for the new Gradiška Border Crossing only after new coefficients for the distribution of VAT revenue are first placed on the agenda, which members from the Republika Srpska (RS) do not want to agree to.

Earlier, it was stated from the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska (RS) that they have engaged a legal team preparing a criminal complaint against Krnjić.

Incidentally, the Gradiška Border Crossing was ceremoniously opened on December 11, but it has not yet been put into operation because it does not meet all legal requirements, which include the rules on the work of UIO officials at that crossing.
