Members of the Ministry of the Interior are seizing documentation related to disputed appointments and promotions of police officials. The investigation is being conducted regarding the appointment of acting director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) Aldin Zeljković, who was appointed by the decision of the Federal Minister of Police, Ramo Isak, after Vahidin Munjić was relieved of his duties. Munjić is also under investigation by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) for abuse of position and has since retired. At that time, information emerged that favoritism was involved in the promotion concerning Sinanović. The FUP then stated that "after a legally concluded internal advertisement, Sinanović was assigned to the position of Head of the Criminal Police Sector of the Federal Police Administration." The Federal Police Administration then informed the public that in the internal advertisement for filling vacant positions of police officers in the FUP, published on November 6, 2025, five police officers were promoted to the rank of chief inspector, including the acting director of the Federal Police Administration, Aldin Sinanović. This enabled him to later become the acting director of the FUP.
