During his appearance on the popular Denis Avdić Show on Slovenian Radio 1, Prevc emphasized that current rules should be changed so that viewers can enjoy the sport more. "I would allow ski jumpers to determine the takeoff point themselves. I would eliminate wind compensation—let it be pure jumping for distance. Let's be honest, it's hard for people to understand how someone can win with a jump that is 20 meters shorter," said Prevc. The show's host remarked that excluding the influence of wind and the takeoff point would not be fair due to varying conditions for competitors, to which Prevc responded: "Life simply isn't fair." Prevc is the current world record holder for the longest jump of 254.5 meters, achieved in Planica on March 30, 2025, and he expressed his desire to fly over 300 meters there in the future. "I wish Planica were another hundred meters larger. I think it would be possible—there are enough mountains. I imagine how much longer the flights would be, what it would feel like to fly over three soccer fields. That would be truly extraordinary," said Prevc.
