John Nolan, actor from Batman films and the series "Person of Interest," has passed away.

He was part of two major Batman film productions directed by Christopher Nolan: "Batman Begins" (2005) and "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012). In those films, he played Douglas Fredericks, a member of the Wayne Enterprises board of directors. Additionally, he appeared in the popular CBS series "Person of Interest," created by Jonathan Nolan. In that series, he portrayed the character John Greer. Nolan passed away on Saturday, and the cause of death is still unknown. He had a very long acting career, particularly in British television and theater, where he worked for decades before gaining international recognition through Hollywood projects. He was the uncle of directors Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, which led to his later roles in their projects.
