Throughout his long career, Jelić held the most responsible positions, including roles as a member of the Board of Directors, a delegate in the Assembly, and ultimately the President of the Assembly of FK Željezničar. His contribution was not limited to the football club, as he also very successfully led the Sports Society Željezničar as its president. Jelić passed away at the age of 79, leaving behind an indelible mark in the organization and stabilization of the club during difficult times. Colleagues and friends will remember him as a man of inexhaustible energy and a true visionary who performed every role with immense love for the club, but also as an outstanding manager and businessman.
