Vujošević was hospitalized in mid-March due to pneumonia, as well as heart and kidney problems, and passed away today. During his rich and trophy-filled career, he also coached the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team in 2017 and 2018. Among his numerous trophies, he notably won 12 championship titles in SFR Yugoslavia/FR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro/Serbia with Partizan, as well as five ABA League championships. It is worth recalling that Vujošević had long struggled with diabetes, and ten years ago, he was hospitalized due to kidney problems, spending several days in the nephrology department at the Military Medical Academy. In May 2025, he underwent kidney surgery and a transplant in Minsk.
