Krpan was best known to the audience in the region for her roles in the series "Larin izbor" where she played the character of Jasmina, "Bibin svijet" where she portrayed the prophetess, and the telenovela "Zakon ljubavi" where she acted as Romana. "With deep sorrow in our hearts, we received the news that long-time ensemble member of the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin, Marija Krpan, left us this morning. Besides her numerous roles, we will remember her for her cheerful spirit, which she maintained until the very end. She began her professional career in the early 1970s, and through years of work, she developed into a versatile actress who successfully performed in theater, television, and film. She spent the majority of her working life at the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin, where she left a strong artistic mark.
