The accident, we recall, occurred on May 25 of last year at Skenderija when Spahović collided with a car driven by Brgulja. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton immediately issued a statement after the accident, noting that Spahović had sustained severe life-threatening injuries at that time. "On May 26, 2025, at 19:40, a traffic accident occurred on the roadway of Terezija Street in the Centar municipality. The incident involved a collision between a passenger motor vehicle 'VW Passat', driven by D.B. (born 1988) from Sarajevo, and a motorcycle 'Yamaha R1', ridden by B.S. (born 1997) from Sarajevo. In this traffic accident, the 28-year-old motorcycle rider sustained severe life-threatening injuries, confirmed at the KCUS Sarajevo, and was admitted to the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology," was stated at the time by the MUP. Spahović spent several days in the hospital where doctors fought for his life, but ultimately, he passed away.
