Namely, acting on the order of the Municipal Court in Banovići, officers from the Criminal Police Sector, with the assistance of the Police Support Unit and the Banovići Police Station, conducted a search of a person identified by the initials N.H. (1994) yesterday. The searches covered the house, yard, and auxiliary buildings used by the suspect, as well as a weekend house, natural areas, and a motor vehicle. "During the operation, a total of nine PVC packages of various sizes containing a white substance resembling narcotics were found and temporarily seized, with a preliminarily estimated mass of about 500 grams. Additionally, one package containing plant material resembling narcotics, two digital scales, and other items with traces of a white powdery substance were found," stated the cantonal police. The Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton noted that the found materials will be subject to expert analysis and will serve as evidence in further criminal proceedings. "By order of the on-duty cantonal prosecutor, the suspect was deprived of liberty due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotics under Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina," added the police. After criminal processing, the suspect, along with a report on the committed criminal offense, will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton.
