The High Court of Justice issued a temporary order tonight effectively prohibiting law enforcement agencies from forcibly dispersing protests with fewer than 600 participants in Habima and fewer than 150 participants in Jerusalem, Haifa, and Kfar Saba.

Police say there are now more than 600 people at the demonstrations and are declaring them illegal.

Footage from the protests shows police forcefully pushing demonstrators. Mounted police officers are also arriving at the scene.

Police say they have arrested one demonstrator; however, newer footage shows a bus transporting several detained protesters parked near the square, including protest organizer Alon Lee Green.

Green was seen addressing demonstrators, condemning the police's behavior, reports The Times of Israel.

"The police are threatening us again, as if our demonstrations are not legal. There are no illegal demonstrations. We do not trust this government, neither Netanyahu, nor Ben Gvir, nor Smotrich," he said.
