Andrej Plenković, both as Prime Minister and as the President of HDZ, attempted this morning in Mostar to persuade five parties to support HDZ's candidate Darijana Filipović. However, the five parties refused to back the candidate of Dragan Čović. After the meeting, Plenković stated that it is important for the Croatian people to be legitimately represented in the Presidency of BiH and other political institutions. "We advocate for the equal status of all three constituent peoples and the European path of BiH," the Croatian Prime Minister conveyed on social media. The meeting in Mostar was attended by representatives of HDZ 1990, the Croatian National Movement, the Croatian Republican Party, the Croatian Democratic Alliance, and HSS of BiH.
