Magyar has announced a resounding victory for the opposition in the Hungarian elections with this statement, which is also confirmed by the current election poll results.
After more than 60 percent of the ballots have been processed in the Hungarian parliamentary elections, the political scene in this country is facing tectonic shifts.
"Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated us on the victory by phone," wrote Magyar.
According to official data from the National Election Commission (based on 60.24 percent of processed votes), the Tisza party is currently winning an incredible 136 seats in the 199-seat parliament. On the other hand, Orbán's Fidesz has dropped to just 56 seats, representing one of the party's worst results in the last decade.
