Day by day, Jakupović is being written about with great attention, both in the United States and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At just 16 years old, he became a senior footballer, and due to his height and physique, he has attracted significant public attention.

He came into focus after two fantastic goals with which he defeated the England selection for the USA, as we have already written about. American football websites have been writing for a year that they fear the fact that Jakupović could play for the Dragons in the future.

That love for Bosnia and Herzegovina has always been present in this super-talented teenager, confirmed by a post from Malik's father, Nedžad, who shared a series of photos of his son.

The first photo is our favorite. Young Malik admired the play of Edin Džeko, so he posed in his jersey in the colors of the BiH flag.

"To my son—I am immensely proud to watch you grow not only as a player but also as a young man. This is everything you ever wanted, and your dream has come true. We only wish you health, happiness, and success," reads the father's post.

Malik Jakupović, who already holds BiH citizenship and would have no administrative obstacles to playing for the Dragons in the future, recently completed an incredible cycle of qualifiers for the North and Central American Championship for the USA.

Jakupović played three matches in the qualifiers and scored an incredible eight goals with one assist.

Thanks to the involvement of people from the Football Association of BiH and media reporting since he was 15 years old, it is very likely that we will see the sturdy forward in our country's jersey. Who knows, maybe he will even become the successor to his role model, Edin Džeko. At least in physique, he reminds us of him.
