Registrations for the third edition of the Red Bull 400 in Bosnia and Herzegovina are officially open. After two exceptionally demanding and thrilling editions, the Olympic Ski Jump on Igman will once again gather all those ready to test their own limits in one of the toughest races in the world.
The Red Bull 400 is known as "the toughest 400 meters" you will ever run. Participants face a brutal ascent up the ski jump, where over just 400 meters in length they conquer a staggering 170 meters of elevation gain, with an incline reaching up to 37 degrees. Precisely because of this, many competitors describe this race as one of the most intense physical experiences they have ever had.
Interest in the race grows year by year, and Igman has already established itself as one of the most attractive locations in the global calendar of this worldwide format.
The course record in the women's competition is currently held by Emina Alagiฤ with a time of 5 minutes and 16 seconds, while in the men's competition the fastest was Jakub Siarnik from Slovakia, who completed the course in 3 minutes and 48 seconds.
All interested competitors can register via the official Red Bull 400 event website. By purchasing the entry fee, participants secure their spot on the starting line, as well as the official race T-shirt and a Red Bull welcome package.
For the fastest, a special prize fund has been prepared. Winners in the men's and women's competitions each win 1,000 BAM, second place receives 800 BAM, while third place brings a prize of 500 BAM.
Just as on the course itself, speed pays off during registration. All those who register by May 10th can take advantage of the promotional period where the entry fee is 50 BAM.
