The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in the search for a man who fell into the Stupčanica River and in flood remediation efforts in Olovo.

This information was released by the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, after receiving approval from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

To recall, on March 28, the Operational Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (MUP ZDK) confirmed that one person had fallen into the Stupčanica River in the area of the Olovo municipality the previous night.

The individual is a man born in 1963. From the very beginning, members of the police and municipal civil protection have been actively involved in the search.

Helez stated that the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina once again demonstrate their readiness, professionalism, and dedication to serving and assisting the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in moments when help is most needed.

"As the Minister of Defense, I am proud of every member of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their courage, discipline, and readiness to respond to every challenge represent the true strength of our country. We will continue to provide full support to civil institutions and local communities in overcoming the consequences of this natural disaster," Helez said.
