This is a project for the reconstruction of a residential-commercial building, with a change of its purpose into a modern business facility, for which a building permit has been issued to the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event was attended by Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazoviฤ and H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Meshaal bin Ali Al-Attiyah.
In addition to the significant investment aspect, the realization of this project will also solve a long-standing security problem, given that the building was in a dilapidated state and posed a potential danger to citizens and traffic.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, Irfan ฤengiฤ, emphasized that this is the result of continuous work on strengthening international cooperation.
"This is a concrete result of two years of joint work by the Municipality and the Islamic Community. International cooperation brings us not only new experiences but also concrete projects and million-dollar investments that are changing our Old Town," stated Mayor ฤengiฤ.
During the meeting with the Qatari Ambassador, new projects and opportunities for further enhancement of cooperation were discussed, particularly in the areas of investment, tourism, and development.
