In an interview on "The Drew Barrymore Show," she revealed that the incident occurred during the filming of an action scene, leading to a production delay of up to 45 minutes because the actor argued with the director about the script.
As she explained, in the original script, her colleague was supposed to be in a situation where an attacker almost hits him from behind, after which her character would save him.
"If you read the script, he was guarding his side, I was guarding mine, then we switch sides and a guy comes who wants to attack and shoot him from behind, so I shoot him," Munn recalled.
However, just before filming, the actor reportedly reacted when he realized the scene's development.
"Wait, wait, wait. Stop. She can't save me. No, no. She can't save me," he allegedly said, refusing to accept such a script.
Munn emphasized that her colleague then halted filming and entered into a debate with the director in front of the entire crew.
"He became aggressive toward the director," she said, adding that he didn't care that everyone present was listening to the argument.
According to her, he repeatedly stated that her character couldn't save him, which led to a nearly hour-long filming delay.
After the break, Munn tried to find a compromise to resume filming.
"After a 45-minute break, I said: 'Alright, what if instead of my character saving you, we simply swap roles because it's time for us to switch, and then it's my character that needs to be taken care of?' He agreed," the actress recounted.
Nevertheless, as she pointed out, the essence of the scene didn't change.
"Here's what's interesting. Nothing changed. That's just what he thought. I was doing the same thing as before," Munn added.
The actress, known for roles in films like "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "The Predator," has previously spoken about other unpleasant experiences in the industry.
In one podcast, she claimed that during her work on the series "The Newsroom," a director tried to tarnish her reputation and prevent her from getting a new role.
"I was shortlisted for a film, and my manager called me and said: 'Hey, you're going to get the part. But there's a director who claims that during the filming of 'The Newsroom,' you were constantly late and aggressive.' I lived seven minutes from the set. I was never late," Munn explained, adding that she knows who it is and believes the claims were an attempt to discredit her.
In the end, she did get the role, but she says she remained disappointed by the process.
She also mentioned that she previously lost a role in the series "30 Rock" because, according to her, actor Alec Baldwin thought she was too young to play his love interest. The role later went to Elizabeth Banks.
