In an interview with Australian Esquire, Djokovic stated that he is aware that he too is only human and can make mistakes.
"I seek balance in that holistic approach and accept that I am only human. I make mistakes, I have weaknesses, and that's OK. To be strong, brave, and successful, you must allow yourself to be vulnerable," said Djokovic.
Many wonder where his motivation to continue playing comes from, and he summed it up in just a few sentences.
"I don't feel like I have completed tennis. My motivation stems from love for the game, competition, and challenging myself. When I'm on the court, I'm not motivated solely by winning, but also by setting an example, showing values such as dedication, perseverance, love for what I do. My motivation is powerful and very personal," said Novak.
As he says, one of the greatest successes in his career was the gold medal for Serbia at the Olympic Games in Paris.
"Winning in Paris, at 37 years old, representing Serbia is undoubtedly one of the greatest moments in my career. The Olympic gold was a life goal. While listening to the national anthem with the gold medal around my neck, that is a feeling that stays there forever, not just in memory but throughout the entire body," emphasized Djokovic.
