A fire engulfed the exterior of a residential building in Tirana, with flames rapidly spreading along the facade of the structure. Due to safety concerns, residents of the building and surrounding areas were evacuated from that part of the city.
Drone footage shows flames moving across the outside of the building, while thick smoke rises above the neighborhood. The footage also reveals firefighting teams operating from the ground, attempting to localize and extinguish the blaze.
Emergency services and civil protection authorities stated that 80 military personnel and emergency service members were deployed on-site, supported by 13 firefighting vehicles that participated in extinguishing the fire.
According to information provided by the relevant authorities, no casualties or injuries have been reported in this incident.
