In the fairly packed "Ramiz Salčin" hall in Mojmilo on Sunday afternoon, the quarterfinal matches of the 14th season of the BH Telecom Fair Play League were held, and the audience once again witnessed fantastic futsal that leaves no one indifferent.
The quarterfinal day was opened by the teams Craftoteka Sarajevo and KMF Hakler. Two equally good teams, known for their different styles of futsal, offered everything that fans of the "small-sided" game love. Craftosi started the match in full swing and were the team dictating the pace of the game, while the experienced Hakleri patiently waited for their chance.
Precisely one such chance, after a series of misses by the opponent, was finished by Vražalica in the 18th minute of the match, sending Hakleri into halftime with a lead. In the second half, the strengths on the field did not change, but this time Craftosi seized the initiative with an excellent goal by Hajdarević in the 4th minute of the second half. Until the end of the match, Craftosi continued to attack, and the most deserving for the equalizer in the regular part of the match was the excellent goalkeeper of Hakleri, Šabić, who in the final seconds of the match saved a clear chance by Čelik and took his team to a penalty shootout.
Drama and uncertainty took us to the sixth round of the shootout, and the goal frame brought celebration to the Hakleri camp and sorrow to the faces of the Craftoteka players. In the end, with a total score of 6:7, Hakleri secured their place in the semifinals.
The second match brought no less excitement, as Malak Team and Ilmijini Ljiljani faced off. Old acquaintances, experienced and seasoned players, were a guarantee for plenty of excellent moves. Although the halftime ended without goals, in the 26th minute of the match, Hajdarević broke the "drought" and put the Red Fury in the lead. The continuation of the excellent rhythm of Malak was crowned by a goal by Isaković in the 32nd minute, only for Aletić to bring Ljiljani back into the game with his goal in the very next attack. However, that joy did not last long, and the seasoned ace Isaković shook the opponent's net again and steered the match into calm waters for his team.
By the end, three more goals were seen, with Bjelak and Isaković, who thus completed a hat-trick, scoring for Malak, while the consolation goal for Ljiljani was the work of Aletić. With a score of 5:2, Malak found its place among the top four teams.
The teams that closed the group stage met again in the knockout. David against Goliath, experience against youth, is a description of the match played by the group stage leaders SD Nedžarići Iuventus and TVSA. The absence of several first-team players was certainly felt in the game of the Students, but a broader roster and youthful blood were enough for them to be favorites in this match, and they welcomed their first goal in the 7th minute of the match when Zubača hit the opponent's net, which was also the score at halftime.
The second half brought a quick goal for the Students, with Čomor being the scorer after four minutes of play. When it seemed that the youngsters would easily march to the semifinals, the heart of the experienced fox Šabeta awakened, who with two bravura goals, in the 27th and 28th minutes, brought an equalizer and uncertainty to the court of the hall in Mojmilo. Until the end of the match, both sides tried, but the excellent Somun and Abazović guarded their nets and took the match to a penalty shootout.
In the end, it turned out that the latter, Abazović, was the key player for the Students, and with two saved penalties, he brought a hard-fought victory for his team, worth the semifinals. SD Nedžarići Iuventus 6, TVSA 5.
The last match of the quarterfinal day brought the "rise of the Phoenix" and the absolute atomic futsal of the current champion, Krajina Plan 21. For rivals, they had the team MiH BH, which had dealt them a heavy defeat in the group, but for the Krajišnici, group matches and playoff matches represent two different levels.
In full lineup, with a champion's approach, after ten minutes of the match, the Krajišnici had a three-goal lead, with goals by Trnka in the 2nd, Logić in the 10th, and Prijić in the 12th minute of play. After the initial knockdown, the MiHovci managed to consolidate their ranks, create several chances, but could not score. The second half was played intensely on both sides, and the Krajišnici were again the ones shaking the net.
This time, Kustura scored in the 33rd minute. When there was nothing left to lose, the MiHovci started playing with an extra player, which the Krajišnici skillfully used, and by the end of the match, Trnka, Prijić, and Šakić reached the "magical seven," while Arapčić was responsible for the consolation goal for the MiH BH team. The final 7:1 leads the Krajišnici to a new semifinal, while MiH BH has nothing to regret because, in their best match of the season, although the score does not say so, they were defeated by the champion's futsal of the current champion.
The semifinal matches are scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, and will feature: SD Nedžarići Iuventus - KMF Hakler and Malak Team - Krajina Plan 21.
