As Klix.ba learns, the responsible parties have been warned about the possibility of a breakdown, and all relevant institutions have been notified. As we have found out, a warning regarding outstanding debts for heating and gas was received 15 days ago. On Wednesday, a meeting was held where difficult discussions took place due to the debts and the inability to settle obligations. Due to the seriousness of the situation, all relevant institutions have been informed, an inspection was conducted to warn those responsible about the possible consequences of an electricity cutoff, and a crisis team plan was delivered with the aim of preventing breakdowns and greater material damage. At the same time, legal proceedings have been initiated, and a decision will be made that will condition the management of Nova Željezara Zenica's funds upon approval. The electricity cutoff is planned for Monday if the debts are not settled. The responsible parties warn that a power outage could cause major problems in the system's operation, as well as potential damage to property and worker safety. Previously, Nova Željezara stated that their operations are threatened and that the failure to implement protective measures on steel imports/exports has further worsened the situation for this company, which is increasingly likely to be shut down.
