"I remind you that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina acted responsibly, constructively, and efficiently in this process, taking all measures within its jurisdiction in the shortest possible time. In doing so, we demonstrated our readiness to be a partner to the economy within our constitutional powers and actively contribute to addressing the challenges you face," he stated.
Regarding the location and timing of the meeting, Nikšić said it would be most appropriate to hold the meeting at the building of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the participation of the chairperson and all relevant ministers responsible for the areas covered by your requests.
"Only institutions at the state level have the capacity and jurisdiction to adopt concrete and implementable solutions, which is why I am prepared to align my arrival with the date and schedule proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH. My position is principled and clear: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska are not states and cannot independently resolve issues of an international character. The state is Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it is precisely the institutions at the state level that are expected to take full responsibility, while respecting the urgency and seriousness of the challenges facing the transport sector," he emphasized.
He also conveyed his expectation that BiH institutions take concrete steps without delay to resolve open issues systematically and in the long term, in the interest of the domestic economy and the workers who daily ensure uninterrupted goods flows to the European market.
