"These negotiations have not taken place for over 40 years. They are happening now because we are very strong and countries are coming to usโ€”not just Lebanon," he said, alluding to Israel becoming an indispensable regional power with which other countries want to make agreements.

He said that in talks with Lebanon, Israel has two main goalsโ€”dismantling Hezbollah and achieving sustainable peace that is "achieved through strength."

Netanyahu added that Israeli forces are focused on Bint Jbeil, which he called the capital of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

"Parallel to this, our forces continue to attack Hezbollah, and the fighting is concentrated in Bint Jbeil. In fact, we are preparing to eliminate this major stronghold of Hezbollah," Netanyahu said in his video message address.

Regarding Iran, Netanyahu said that the U.S. is keeping Israel informed and that the two countries are aligned in their goals to see the removal of enriched nuclear material from Iran, the elimination of uranium enrichment capabilities within Iran, and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

"Our goals with the United States are aligned. We want Iran's enriched material removed and we want its uranium enrichment capabilities within Iran eliminated. And of course, we want the key shipping straits reopened. It is too early to say how this will end or even how it will develop. If conflict arises again, we are prepared for any scenario," he added.
