After winning a gold medal in Rome a month ago, Sipović once again confirmed her class by securing a bronze medal in the Premier League in Leshan, China, in the women's under 55 kg category. She reached the medal through outstanding performances in the group stage, where she achieved victories over representatives from Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, and Azerbaijan, and as the top finisher, earned a place in the knockout phase. In the quarterfinals, she dominantly defeated Slovakia's Nina Kvasnikova with a score of 5:1. In the semifinals, after a tough battle and Nejra's 2:0 lead, the match ended 3:2 in favor of the home competitor from China, Wei Youchin. However, in the bronze medal match, she showed strength and character, defeating Kazakhstan's Bella Samasheva with a score of 3:2. This medal further solidified Nejra Sipović's position as one of the top contenders for the prestigious Grand Winner title at the end of the season, where she is currently ranked first in the race for this outstanding recognition. The Karate1 Premier League is the highest tier of world karate, where only the top 32 fighters in each category have the right to compete. Throughout the season, the world's best karatekas collect points at tournaments, and at the end of the year, the top-ranked athlete in each category wins the prestigious Grand Winner title. "We thank the Karate Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Sarajevo Canton and Minister Kenan Magoda, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević, the Tourist Board of the Sarajevo Canton, the Sports Foundation, the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo and Mayor Srđan Mandić, as well as the Center for Sports and Recreation for their continuous support in the work and development of elite sports," stated the Ippon Karate Club.
